Diabetes: Causes, Symptoms, Treatment | Yoga se Madhumeh ka ilaj [2020-21]
When for some reason the amount of insulin released from the gland decreases or the insulin ceases, then the level of glucose in the blood rises due to poor blood sugar metabolism. This amount of increased sugar is also not absorbed by the kidneys. Due to which sugar starts coming out of urine also, this condition of blood sugar level is higher than normal, it is called diabetes.
This disease is called Madhumeh or Diabetes in Ayurveda. Madhu means honey and meh means rain (falling like water), thus diabetes means urinary excretion like honey.
Types
There are two types of diabetes.
Children's diabetes or (insulin dependent diabetes)
Adult diabetes (non-insulin dependent diabetes)
Symptoms of diabetes
More hungry, more thirsty
Excessive urine
Persist fatigue
Feeling weak
Sweet taste
Coating of white feces on the tongue
Late wound healing and recurrent pus in wounds.
Infection of diseases occurs quickly because due to the excess of glucose in the fluids in the body, bacteria start getting abundant food and the body becomes the home of diseases.
Dryness on the skin
Tingle in extremities
Pain in the calf
Sight loss
Burning feet soles
Frequent boils - pimples
Causes
Eating too much fat
Excess intake of sweets.
Lack of physical exercise.
mental stress .
For genetic reasons.
More obese.
By consuming alcohol for a long time.
Causes of stomach diseases.
From the imbalance of hormones in the body.
Due to weakening of the liver.
Yogic treatment
Asana
Sarvangasana, Pawan Muktasana, Surya Namaskar 10 times, Halasana, Ardhamatsyandrasana, Vakasana, Paschimotanasana, Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana, Yogamudrasana, Katichkrasana, Mandukasana, Uttanapadasana.
Pranayama
Nadi Shodhna pranayama, bhastrika pranayama, bhramari pranayama.
Kriya
Neti Kriya, Kunjal Kriya, Laghu Shankha Prakashan, Vamanghouti, Agnisara, Nauli.
Relaxation -
Shavasana, Yoganidra.
Diet
Eat lightly digestible food, No native foods such as rice, potatoes, etc. Eat sprouted grains and mix 20 grams of bitter gourd with salt every day.
