Method, Precautions & Benefits of  Nadi Shodhanam Pranayama || Nadi Shodhanam Pranayama karne ka Tarika, Savdhania aur Fayde [2020-21]

The word 'Nadi' means 'pulse' or 'flow of power' and 'Shodhanam' means 'purify'. Nadi treatment means the practice of purification of pulse. Nadi Shodhanam is effective pranayama that keeps the brain, body and emotions right. Before starting meditation practice, you can practice this pranayama to calm the brain. Nadi Shodhanam Pranayama provides relief from anxiety, tension or sleeplessness.



Method of Nadi Shodhanam Pranayama 

1. Bring the fingers of the right hand in front of the mouth. Keep the index finger and middle finger gently between the foreheads. Do not pressurize both the fingers, keep the fingers relaxed.

2. The thumb rests on the right nostril and ring finger on the left nostril. Both of them (thumb and ring finger) control their breathing by alternately pressing the nostrils. First press one nostril and breathe with the other, and then repeat the same process with the other nostril.

3. Rest the little finger inward.

4. Support the elbow to the left arm to practice for a long time. But keep in mind that while supporting, your chest should not bend.

5. Do this exercise for 30 minutes.

1. By purification of pulse, oxygen reaches the entire body in the right amount.
