Method, Precautions & Benefits of Gyan Mudra (Wisdom posture) || Gyan Mudra (Wisdom posture) karne ka Tarika, Savdhania aur Fayde [2020-21]
Gyan Mudra is called by the posture made by the touch of finger and index finger
1. Sit down in Padmasana or Sukhasana.
2. Place both your hands on the knees and touch the finger (index finger) near the thumb.
3. Keep the rest of the fingers straight and joined together.
Precaution:
• To get the full benefit from Gyan Mudra, a seeker should eat simple natural food.
• Do not consume meat, fish, poultry, alcohol, smoking, tobacco, tea, coffee, cold drinks etc.
• Energy wastage - like unrestrained conversation, talking or moving your legs or other organs in normal position, jealousy, ego etc. are the causes of energy wastage, avoid them.
Time and duration to do:
• This mudra can be practiced every morning and evening.
• Gyan Mudra can be done every day for 48 minutes or longer as per your convenience. If it is not possible to do 48 minutes at a time, then all three times can be done for 16-16 minutes.
• Gyan Mudra should be done at least 45 minutes daily for full benefits.
