Ardh Matsyendrasana : Method, Precaution & Benefits || Ardh Matsyendrasana Karne ki vidhi, Savdhaniyan Aur Labh
Method
Sit with your legs spread out towards the front.
Keep the right leg straight out of the left knee on the ground. Bend your left leg to the right. The heel remained near the right buttock. Place the left hand towards the outside of the right foot and hold the right foot or ankle.
The right knee should be closer to the left arm.
Place the right hand backwards. Fold the body to the right. Try to bend the Torso as much as possible in rotation movement towards the back. After staying in this state for some time, slowly come back to the previous position.
Do the same action in the opposite direction.
Breath
Breath-out while turning the waist.
In the last stage, supplement by drawing deep Breath.
Breath-out when coming in the previous position.
Comment
This is a very important posture. Do practice it at least once a day.
Timing
Once the back muscles have become flexible enough, stay in this posture for each and at least one minute.
Concentration
On breathing in the final position.
Benefit
Massages the muscles of the back, provides strength to the nerves and makes the spinal cord flexible.
Massaging the organs of the abdominal region, removes digestive diseases.
Regulates the action of the subrenal gland and organizes the functions of their fluid veins.
Clome makes the gland functional. Therefore, diabetes reduces the outbreak of the disease.
Helps to overcome the complaint of Arthritis. Useful in the treatment of early stage of slip disc.
There is a power of many veins located in the back.
Makes the pulse related to the brain spread throughout the body powerful and healthy. In this way it has a good effect on the entire pulse.
Simple form for beginning practitioners
If there is stiffness in the body and the practice of posture is impossible, then the practitioner should not bend the leg and keep it close to the butt, but keep that leg straight. The rest of the action will remain the shape of Matsyendrasana.
When the body gets flexibility, the posture should be practiced in a proper manner so that it can get its full benefit.
