The aquatic creature, shaped like a crocodile, is called Makarasan.

Method :

First lie down on the stomach. Since the crocodile's head always appears raised. So, to make the same shape, hold the elbows of both your hands on the ground. Now raise the neck and head, support the cheeks and chin with the palms. In the state of complete rest, imagine the energy to be upward, closing the eyes. Breathe effortlessly.

To get other benefits from Makkaran, we can practice it by making it a bit more dynamic.

Variation:

1. First reached Makarasan position. Now slowly turn the head to the left, look at the heel and claw of your left foot, stop a little and then come back to the original position. Similarly, look on the right side also. Return to original state. This happened 1 cycle. Thus complete 10 cycles. Keep breathing normal.

2. First arrived in Makarasan position. Now, while being in the same position, the elbows gradually move forward. As the elbows move forward, light tension will occur in the lower part of the neck. Stop as much as you can. And slowly return to the original state. Now slowly bring the elbows closer to the chest and return to the original position. This happened 1 cycle. Similarly, complete 5 to 10 cycles.

3. Stay in Makarasan position. Now first put one leg on the thigh by bending from the knee. In this case, the heel will touch the buttock region. The second leg will remain the same. In this sequence, now the second leg touches the thigh, then the first leg will come back to the ground. Repeat this action in a sequential manner. This action can be done quickly.

4. Do the same action with both feet simultaneously. Repeat at least 10 times.
